- RARE TEA : Rare Silver Needle White Tea buds hold the honour of being one of the top teas in the world. A true masterpiece which is one of the least processed teas. The white variant of the Darjeeling Tea has a delicate aroma and brews to a pale golden colour with a mellow taste and a hint of sweetness. The leaves are light and needle like in appearance. That surely explains the name. It is one of the least processed teas.
- HEALTH BENEFITS : This tea is a powerhouse of antioxidants. It has anti aging properties, promotes healthy skin and stimulates the immune system to fight diseases. This rare tea contains high amounts of phenols, which can strengthen both collagen and elastin lending a smoother, more youthful appearance to skin.
- NATURAL, PURE WHITE TEA : The least processed tea amongst all the teas. White tea is made from the young tea bud. It is plucked just before the leaf opens on the stem and is air-dried to lock in its colour and flavour. The chlorophyll is not mature in this bud and that gives its white appearance. The delicacy of white tea leaves allows wonderfully subtle flavours to flourish in your freshly brewed cup! Caffeine content is lowest as compared to Black, Green or Oolong Teas.
- HOW TO BREW : Boil the water and switch off the flame. Let the water cool for a few minutes so that temperature comes down from the boiling point to about 80-85 degrees. Take a teaspoon of the tea leaves in a cup. Pour the hot water on the tea leaves. Let it brew for 4 minutes. Strain it. The used tea leaves can be re-brewed to make another couple of cups of tea. Allow additional 30 seconds brewing for every reuse. This tea is not a single use tea but can make 3 cups from the same serving.
- STORAGE : Transfer the contents to an air-tight container, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dark place. Do not use a moist spoon; use only a dry spoon.
