Mysore region is famous for sunflower farms & hence traditionally extracted pure cold-pressed oil is procured locally & used as a healthy alternative to Palm/ Cottonseed Oil. Sliced bananas are deep-fried in cold-pressed oil under controlled temperature, it ensures that the chips are lighter, nongreasy and also enhances the natural earthy flavor of bananas.
